Testing Procedures

Friction properties of the brake pads are checked thoroughly.

The best results are obtained when carrying out tests simulating standard operation conditions. Stability of a vehicle, braking performance at high speeds and the level of emitted noise are checked. The purpose of the tests is to assess the functioning of the brakes under all conditions of use. Parameters defined in tests are much higher than generally applied ones.

• Braking performance tested at 700oC (standard temperatures: 150-300oC)
• Braking performance at speed >100 km/h
• Wear test carried out at 500°C (standard temperatures: 150-300oC)
